What is Hydrographics?

Hydrographics, also known as water transfer printing, is a fascinating technique that brings intricate designs to life on various objects. It involves transferring a printed design from a special film onto a three-dimensional surface using water as the medium.

How to Works?

Base Coating
The object to be decorated is first coated with a base layer of paint primer, which provides a smooth surface for the hydrographic film to adhere to.
Preparing Film
The design pattern or design is printed onto a water-soluble film using specialized inks, This film is then carefully placed on the surface of a water tank.
Activator Application
A chemical activator is sprayed over the film, dissolving it into a liquid and creating a floating layer on the water’s surface.
Dipping Process
The object is carefully dipped into the water tank, and the floating ink pattern wraps around it, adhering to the base coat.
Rinsing and Drying
Excess ink and activator are rinsed off, and object is allowed to dry, leaving behind a beautifully decorated surface.
